Feed My Starving Children is Hiring a Development coordinator Near Richardson, TX

Your Role :

Lead Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)'s fundraising event registration and sponsorship administration. Coordinate event speakers and materials, travel information, and external fundraiser support.

Perform administrative tasks for the development team.

This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Typical work schedule is Monday - Friday during daytime business hours.

Infrequent evening and weekend hours required. Occasional local and domestic travel required.

What You'll Do :

Facilitate the Speakers Bureau program. Maintain roster and eligibility criteria. Lead group trainings. Coordinate speaking opportunities, speaker assignments, and kit checkouts.

Manage the application process and inbox.

  • Lead sponsorship administration and registration for FMSC's fundraising events. Collaborate with development and marketing teams, manage RSVP's, track sponsor information, run reports, train volunteers, and set-up / tear-down registration area.
  • Respond to inquiries from third parties interested in fundraising for FMSC. Provide resources and encouragement.
  • Assist with administrative tasks for development team : update event materials, administer estate giving donor process, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and communicate meeting information.
  • Act as the main liaison for Food-in-Action Trip travelers and FMSC's travel planning staff. Answer questions, schedule meetings, and communicate pre-trip information.

Monitor post-trip donor engagement patterns.

  • Coordinate and manage administrative volunteers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications :

  • Commitment to support and promote FMSC's Christian mission and goals.
  • Associate's degree and 2 years of related work experience preferred. In lieu of degree, relevant work experience will be considered.
  • Advanced competencies with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of detail, accuracy and follow-through.
  • Able to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Able to educate and instruct large groups in person and via video conferencing.
  • Self-starter able to independently make decisions, perform tasks and solve problems.
  • Able to use discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Your Team :

Work location : MN (Chanhassen, Coon Rapids, Eagan), IL (Aurora, Libertyville, Schaumburg), AZ (Mesa) or TX (Richardson).

Position will have flexible / hybrid work schedule that allows for both office and remote work. A minimum 2 days per week in the office is expected.

Reports to Development Director.
