BADCO, INC., Rogers Solutions, and L&J Express, INC., are all Independent Service Providers for FedEx Ground. Being contracted as an Independent Service Provider with FedEx Ground provides opportunities for employment! ISP's provide delivery services for FedEx Ground packages. All three entities stated above are family owned. CEO Ron Dickes started with FedEx Ground in 1992, he is the BADCO, INC President. Lori Dickes is the wife of Ron, and she is the President of Rogers Solutions. Jeff Dickes is the son of Ron & Lori, and he is the President of L&J Express, INC.

FedEx Ground delivers within a 150 mile radius of the FedEx Ground warehouse. The FedEx Ground warehouse is located in Columbia, MO. Our L&J Express, INC company is the entity for our Sedalia, MO contract area. The company has a building located at 1313 N. Missouri Ave Sedalia, MO 65301. The freight gets transported in 1-2 straight trucks Monday-Friday & Saturday to our Sedalia, MO terminal. We have package handlers that will be under your management as well as delivery drivers at that terminal. The package handlers unload the straight truck(s) and help the drivers load their trucks before they dispatch. The straight truck MUST come back to Columbia, MO every night for the next freight run.

Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Accomplishes company objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating all employees under manager.
• Maintains staff by working with the Hiring Manager; conducting interviews that the HR schedules, making sure all new hires are getting proper training.
• Ensures the working environment is safe and secure.
• Develops personal growth opportunities; helping the company succeed and continue growing.
• Accomplishes employee results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, evaluating, and appraising job results.
• Coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees.
• Develops, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
• Establishes strategic goals by gathering
• Defines objectives, identifies and evaluates trends and options, chooses a course of action, and evaluates outcomes.
• Accomplishes payroll budgets and cuts. Works together with Hiring Manager when it comes to weekly payroll; introduces ways of decreasing payroll.
• Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements. FedEx Ground employee will send Customer Service Mail everyday. This is complaints, misdelivered packages, lost packages, delivery location directions, etc.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Manager Job Expectations:

• Route planning with the Operations Manager, Jeff.
• Approving Payroll for all employees under your management.
• Scheduling and working with the Hiring Manager with your scheduling.
• Ensuring all routes are covered every day. (10 routes are ran Monday-Friday, 6 routes are ran on Saturday. No operations on Sunday's from January - November 17th)
• Enforcing strict no calling in policies, FedEx Ground delivery policies, overtime policies.
• You will be required to run a route if there is a no call no show, a call in, or job abandonment if you have no other employee available to run the uncovered route.

Hiring Process:

• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check - First Advantage is the vendor we use
• Must be able to pass a Drug Screen - does test for THC
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
• Must have a Class E drivers license
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to handle confrontations
