JOB SUMMARY:

The Account Resolution Specialist position is a service-line professional that will perform collection duties for a group of accounts, act as an advisor to inform clients of our approach, analyze their need for our services and explore alternate streams of revenue for the department. Heavily reliant on customer service skills, this position focuses on collecting accounts of a sensitive nature while striving to maintain the relationship between debtor and client. The Account Resolution Specialist will also collaborate with other departments to ensure Federated Fiducial meets the business needs of the client.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Communicate professionally and appropriately with clients, debtors, agencies and law firms via all forms of communication
• Document in great detail communication with debtors and clients during the entire collection process
• Understand and apply Accounts Receivable and Collections procedures in an autonomous and proactive manner
• Make independent decisions concerning the collection process
• Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable balances
• Analyze client accounts receivable needs and promote solutions
• Willing to work flexible hours
• Cross-promote other services, as needed
• Ability to work independently to accomplish realistic objectives and goals on schedule
• Possess working knowledge credit/collection regulation, probate laws and usury laws
• Willingness to accept additional assignments or special projects as delegated

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed primarily in an indoor office environment, free from extreme weather conditions. Work may include a moderate amount of noise (business office with computers, phone and printers)

TRAINING, ACADEMIC AND EXPERIENTIAL REQURIEMENTS:

• Previous Customer Service or Accounts Receivable experience
• Experience managing sensitive/confidential information
• Has an entrepreneurial drive and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and senior management in a team-oriented environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate Degree preferred but not required
• Is detail oriented and an individual contributor with the ability to “think outside the box”
• Experience with collection software and Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook and Word
• Spanish speaking is a plus
