Company Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Helena Branch (Bank) looks for a Service Technician for its Facilities Management Department. The Service Technician will ensure the Banks facility and equipment continue to operate to provide a safe, secure, and physically aesthetic and environmentally sound work environment for its employees, tenants, and guests. Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, you will have primary responsibility for maintenance of the facility and equipment at the Helena Branch. Responsibilities: Maintenance, upkeep, and repair of the following systems: Two boilers and associated distribution system; Two chillers, associated distribution system, and computer room cooling units; Two cooling towers and associated distribution system, and water treatment monitoring; Building management system; Life Safety system; Fire suppression system; Hydraulic systems; Electrical system, including generator; Lighting system; Security systems, including automated doors, security portals, vehicle barriers, x-ray machine; A/V systems; Gun range systems, including target retrieval and back-stop; Forklift and pallet jack; and Bank vehicle. Support the Bank and staff for maintenance, renovation, relocation, and remodeling of office space, including furniture, painting, carpet replacement, and other building components/systems that affect the office environment. Qualifications: Vocational school graduate degree preferred or equivalent experience in industrial controls, electricity, mechanical systems, hydraulics, programmable logic controllers, electronics, or related field. Certification as a boiler operator or refrigerant technician a plus. Strategic and experience with an emphasis on innovation and automation.
