FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee a 12-18 month construction project near Lithia Springs, GA. This position is expected to operate on a Monday-Friday 40-50 hour/week Day Shift schedule with the potential for additional overtime. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings on a daily basis for a single site location.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s (4 year) or advanced technical degree in EHS Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or similar health and safety specialty area (i.e., Industrial Hygiene).
A minimum of three (3) years of experience implementing the EHS management role(s) in an industrial, civil, or technology-related construction sector(s).
In lieu of possession of a Bachelor’s or advanced technical degree, candidates MUST possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience implementing the EHS management role in an industrial, civil, or technology-related construction sector.
Competency in one or more Occupational, Health, and Safety Management Systems (i.e. ISO 45001; OHSAS 18001, ANSI Z10).
In-depth knowledge of the EHS laws, regulations, and standards for the region and/or project(s) they will be assigned to.
Current training and/or familiarity with health and safety consensus standards (i.e., National Fire Protection Agency) which are specific or applicable to the construction industry.
