Position Summary:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for converting raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. This role involves analyzing and interpreting data, designing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards, and providing actionable insights to various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze current application processes and identify areas for improvement and efficiency. Implement changes and streamline procedures to enhance the overall application experience.
• Oversee and maintain the application management systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning smoothly. Troubleshoot technical issues and work with IT teams for system enhancements.
• Collaborate with various departments, including HR, admissions, or client services, to understand their application requirements and customize processes accordingly.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to application processes, including guidelines, procedures, and best practices.
• Collect and analyze data related to application metrics, such as submission rates, processing times, and applicant demographics, to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across various sources and reporting tools.
• Develop strategies for database development, data collection systems, data analytics, and other methods to optimize data quality and efficiency.
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes to guarantee that applications are complete and meet necessary criteria before review.
• Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Required Experience:
• Proven experience in process optimization and management.
• Familiarity with application management software and databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, IT, Administration).

Preferred Skills:

• Project management experience.
• Experience in data science and analytics methodologies.
• Familiarity with other BI tools and data visualization software.
