Enterprise Information Protection Intern – Summer 2024

What You’ll Do:

Our internship program holds an 80/10/10 approach, meaning that 80% of your work time will involve performing tasks or work on projects within your hired work area. Another 10% of the time, you will be exposed to learning in other areas within your assigned division to get more corporate experience. Then, the final 10% will be spent in shared experiences across the organization, where you will get to really learn about our culture and work environment.

• Work closely with tenured information security professionals to develop skills required for career in Information Technology
• Gain real world experience related to project work, production support, and technical requirements.
• Explore different areas of Information Technology by participating in divisional activities.
• Learn about Farm Bureau Financial Services and the insurance industry by participating in organizational events.
• Learn about information security by participating in security event monitoring, system access evaluation, and projects.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

• Be a college student pursuing a Management Information Systems or other information technology.
• A quick learner who is looking to learn new concepts and ideas.
• Must have basic understanding of information technology security principles.
• Must have strong verbal & written communication skills and be a team player.
• Must possess good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be a self-starter, take initiative and be highly motivated.
• Be dependable and able to work a 38-hour work week during summer 2024.
