Assistant District Manager

What You’ll Do:

In this role, you will partner with the Regional Vice President and the District Managers in all aspects of the business in order to meet key performance metrics including recruiting new agents, training, driving sales and performing supervisory tasks for an agency. We are looking for a results-oriented individual to utilize our overall recruiting process to identify and recruitqualified new agents in order to increase the FBFS Agency sales force and maximize Property/Casualty and Life sales. You will also:

·Contribute to the financial success of Farm Bureau by effectively promoting and building multiline accounts as well as promoting profitable, quality productive growth across agency operations.

·Foster positive relationships and assisting in attaining established Farm Bureau Federation membership goals.

·Ensure continuing effective agency operation by assisting the Field Leadership in the recruiting, selection, training, development, and motivation of our agency force.

·Assist the Field Leadership in conducting agency, regional, and company meetings and training.

·Assist in meeting corporate goals by developing and communicating agency market plans as well as assisting in the development of agent business plans.

·Continue professional development by attending and completing educational courses pertinent to the position. Actively participate in the development activities of the field management consultant program which encompasses all aspects of the business.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

·College degree (Business or Marketing preferred) or equivalent plus 3 years relevant experience required.

·Insurance/financial service and sales or related experience preferred.

·Licensed in all product lines preferred.

·FINRA Registered Representative and Principal; Series 6, 26 & 63 (or pass within first three months).

·Must have strong organizational, communications, and meeting planning/facilitation skills.

·A valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are required.

·Ability to travel a minimum of 60% of the time locally, as well as overnight required.
