The Bank Correspondence Specialist will be responsible for timely processing, tracking and management of all incoming and outgoing mail production. Also responsible for account and documentation servicing for various account types. The position will report to the Deposit Services Supervisor. This is an in-person role.

Essential Functions:

Bank Correspondence Production

  • Responsible for operating functional equipment, including metering, scanners, printers, inserting (where applicable) and other equipment.
  • Receive, scan, weigh, sort and organize incoming mail.
  • Responsible for communicating special deliveries to appropriate individuals.
  • Produce and prepare account notices and correspondence for various account types.
  • Stage work for courier pickup including required manifest(s) and documentation.
  • Maintain daily records of all postal activities for monthly reports.
  • Submit order request for check stock and mail supplies.

Account and Documentation Servicing

  • Manage the imaging process for account documents i.e. scanning, indexing and importing into the appropriate system.
  • Perform address maintenance in appropriate systems based on return mail notification.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Assist in special projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Detail and deadline oriented.
  • Strong emphasis on safeguarding all personal and confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Must have good customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and follow through on tasks.
  • Must be able to manage multiple workflow streams.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have range of motion within the normal office environment.
  • Must be able to lift and push at least 50lbs and stand and walk for long periods of time.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred.
  • Some back-office and document imaging systems experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Two years’ experience working in an office environment.
  • One-year central mailroom experience.
