Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team. As a Registered Nurse in Acute Care, you will provide direct patient care, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in an acute care setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms
- Perform physical examinations and collect patient health history
- Assist with procedures such as IV infusion, spinal taps, and catheterization
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in [state]
- Minimum [X] years of experience in acute care or related setting
- Proficient in ICD-9 coding and documentation standards
- Strong knowledge of acute care procedures and protocols
- Experience in behavioral health or dementia care is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
