Favor is seeking a passionate Product Designer to define how on-demand delivery works for customers, Runners (that’s what we call Favor delivery drivers), restaurants, and stores. As a member of Favor’s Product team, you’ll craft experiences that help customers find what they want, when they want it. We’re a close-knit team of designers and product managers guided by a collaborative, iterative, user-centered design process.

What you'll do:

• Develop a deep and nuanced understanding of the customer experience
• Use best practices to design amazing experiences across a multitude of touchpoints
• Serve as the expert on our 15 distinct iOS, Android, desktop web, and mobile web products 
• Inform the company about the needs of our users through research
• Identify problems, mock up solutions, and test with users until the product is great
• Present your ideas regularly to creative peers, engineers, and key stakeholders (including senior leadership)
• Work with cross-disciplinary partners to dig into issues, gather feedback, and design the right solutions

• A relevant degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
• 5 years of experience in product design, experience design, user interface/user experience design, or a similar role
• 2 years of experience working for a consumer product company or similar company
• A portfolio that demonstrates user-centered designs across a variety of mobile and web applications and experience designing products that users love
• Expertise in figma and experience applying established design patterns to your work
• The ability to describe the design choices you made in past projects
• A core design skill set that includes wireframing, whiteboarding, strategy, and information architecture
• The ability to think in both low and high fidelity and understand the impact of design on user experiences across an ecosystem of products
• An appreciation for great product design and the ability to evaluate what makes an experience good or bad

• You have an acute attention to detail and inconsistencies in products drive you crazy
• You naturally speak on behalf of the user and seek data and evidence to support them
• You crave constructive feedback because it makes you a better designer
• You have excellent communication skills with an ability to explain and advocate for your work
• You enjoy engaging with research and hearing from users/audiences directly
• You are passionate about identifying and solving problems
