Adjustment CounselorFausey Elementary SchoolProvide group and individual counseling services-Design and deliver tiered supports and interventions-Case management services for an assigned caseload-Collaborate and consult with school personnel on topics related to social/emotional learning and mental health issues-Provide crisis intervention when needed-Complete behavioral assessments and develop behavior support plans-Family communication and collaboration as part of service delivery planning and services-Collaborate and consult with teachers and related service personnel regarding strategies and interventions appropriate for students and communication regarding progress monitoring-Maintain contact with outside providers and agencies to facilitate a comprehensive approach to the student’s service delivery-Develop individual student goals and benchmarks, collect and analyze data, and prepare progress reports-Assessments, goal writing, and progress reports as needed-Perform other related duties as required-Participate in and maintain QBS Safety Care certification-Self-harm and threat assessment screenings as indicated- Participation on PBIS, Crisis team, and Equity teams-Diverse applicants encouraged to applySalary: Per the Unit A contractQualifications:-Current DESE Licensure as School Adjustment Counselor/Social Worker or Licensed School Adjustment Counselor-Knowledge of community resources-In-depth knowledge of child development and wrap around interventions to support student’s social-emotional needs-Strong organizational and team skills-Has experience working with diverse students-Demonstrates the ability to support families and parents as well as teachers with student needs-Demonstrates knowledge of mental health and family systems-Bilingual encouraged to apply
