Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Jewelry Associate to join our team. As a Jewelry Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, assisting with sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Duties:

- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing jewelry items

- Provide product information, answer questions, and offer recommendations

- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale systems

- Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring proper change is given

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the jewelry display cases and store area

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service

- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer's shopping experience

- Stay updated on current jewelry trends, styles, and industry knowledge

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in technical sales, retail sales, or jewelry sales is preferred

- Strong cash handling skills with the ability to perform basic retail math calculations

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Basic knowledge of jewelry materials, gemstones, and precious metals is desirable

- Familiarity with operating cash registers or point-of-sale systems
