Job Summary:

The Therapy aide will assist with toxicology, environmental safety, patient care related to dosing flow and other miscellaneous tasks as needed such as faxing, taking phone messages.

All job responsibilities with this position need to be in alignment with value-based health/payment. It is the responsibility of this position to know and understand the specific implications of VBH/VBP on day-to-day duties on the job.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

• Unobserved & observed toxicology as needed with same sexed patients.
• Help maintain a safe and secure environment. Assist patients with adhering to patient responsibilities and program guidelines. This includes consistent monitoring of the treatment environment, including but not limited to the waiting room and external property area (i.e., parking lot).
• TA will identify and address any patient care issues that could have a negative impact on patient care. TA will not intervene in any physical altercations or put self in physical jeopardy. If TA encounters a potentially violent situation, they will seek assistance/call 911.
• Facilitate flow for patients to receive their medication as efficiently as possible.
• Assist engagement staff with coverage when applicable.
• Complete other tasks for support as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Prior work experience in substance abuse preferred.

• Ability to satisfactorily complete required background screenings
