QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate or equivalent G.E.D.

Previous experience as a Head Custodian in a public school K-12 environment.

Must be able to work flexible hours as determined by the school system.

General knowledge of all phases of custodial duties.

Knowledge and demonstration of assistant head custodial responsibilities.

Demonstrated ability to read, problem solve, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Evidence of good communication and computer skills.

Able to perform basic mathematical functions.

Able to provide direction to the custodial staff.

Strong leadership abilities as well as working cooperatively with staff members and the community.

Able to meet physical demands of the position with or without reasonable accommodations; including,

among others, lifting or moving of 50 pounds or more.

Testing is required.

Temporarily replace/sub for head custodial position when vacant due to absences, vacations etc.

Complete special projects when not need to cover a school.
