Job Title: Pilates Reformer Instructor

Job Summary:

As a Pilates Instructor at Farmington, you will step into a central role dedicated to delivering top-notch Pilates instruction to our valued members. Your responsibilities will include leading, engaging small group, private, and duet sessions, leveraging your deep knowledge of Pilates techniques, anatomy, and injury prevention to craft workouts that are not only safe but also highly effective, and customized to each individual's unique requirements and goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting small group, private, and duet Pilates sessions for members of varying fitness levels and abilities.
• Demonstrating proficiency in teaching Pilates reformer exercises and equipment.
• Providing personalized instruction and modifications to accommodate clients with injuries or physical limitations, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience.
• Developing and implementing customized Pilates programs to help clients achieve their fitness goals and enhance their overall well-being.
• Educating clients on proper form, alignment, and breathing techniques to maximize the benefits of Pilates practice.
• Maintaining a clean and organized Pilates studio environment, including equipment upkeep and sanitation protocols.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in Pilates methodology to continually enhance teaching skills and client experience.
• Building rapport with members and fostering a supportive and motivating atmosphere conducive to personal growth and achievement.
• Maintain accurate billing records for Pilates reformer sessions in compliance with club policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience teaching Pilates reformer, with a demonstrated ability to lead small group, private, and duet sessions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Pilates reformer exercises, anatomy, and injury prevention techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and motivate clients effectively.

Certifications and Accreditations:

• Current and active Pilates Instructor Certification from a nationally accredited organization (e.g., PMA, Balanced Body, STOTT Pilates).
• Additional certifications in anatomy, biomechanics, or injury prevention/rehabilitation are desirable.
