Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales goals through generating new business and cross-selling existing customers.
  • Identify and qualify sales leads generated from a variety of sources.
  • Help protect customers by offering products that will meet their needs.
  • Serve your local community by helping them prepare for life’s uncertainties.
  • Educate prospective customers on how to protect their families and assets.
  • Provide a positive customer experience.
  • Provide expert insurance and financial advice to clients, offering them peace of mind and financial security.
  • Engage with the local community to build strong relationships and grow your client base.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for small business ownership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A desire to make a meaningful impact in your community.
  • Ability to obtain an insurance license with assistance from our team. (existing license is a plus!)
  • Previous employment in a sales representative role where you have successfully turned prospects into customers.
  • No insurance experience required.
  • Confident, motivated individual who works well independently.
  • Effective written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly driven, well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.
  • Familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base.
  • Able to multi-task, follow through and follow-up.
  • Charisma: Your interpersonal skills are second-to-none, and you’re able to apply market insights to identify and cultivate new clients, as well as tailor products and services to meet existing customers’ needs.
  • Relationship builder: Your focus is on the long game—building strong relationships within local communities and organizations, while maintaining open lines of communication for future sales opportunities.
  • MUST be coachable.
  • MUST be self-motivated and determined.

Education:

  • High School Degree with relevant sales experience
