Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our team. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your main responsibility will be to greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and assist with guest inquiries. Duties: - Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome - Seat guests in a timely manner, taking into account their preferences and any special requests - Manage reservations and ensure accurate seating arrangements - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and waiting area - Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries - Provide accurate wait times to guests and manage the seating rotation - Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations - Assist with any other duties as assigned by management Experience: - Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively - Familiarity with Aloha POS or other restaurant point-of-sale systems is a plus - Excellent guest relations skills, ensuring all guests feel welcomed and valued - Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and calmness - Knowledge of phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes - Understanding of guest services principles and practices Join our team today as a Host/Host and be part of creating memorable experiences for our guests.
