Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the store staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing sales and profitability. Farmboy Brew Shop provides customers with everything they need to brew beer, make wine, mead, cider and fermented foods at home.

Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the store, including sales, inventory control, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve store targets
- Train, supervise, and motivate store staff to provide exceptional customer service
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Oversee merchandising and visual displays to enhance the store's appearance
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective promotional activities
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Experience:

- Homebrewing and fermentation experience is required
- Previous experience as a Store Manager or similar role in a retail environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in math for handling cash transactions and managing inventory
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques and procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building customer relationships
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers for favorable pricing and terms
- Experience in shift management to ensure proper staffing coverage
- Familiarity with local market trends and competition
