Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and project management within the commercial roofing industry. As a Commercial Roofing Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of materials, labor, and equipment required for roofing projects, preparing bids and proposals, and collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to accurately estimate roofing materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Prepare detailed and competitive bids and proposals for commercial roofing projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing and ensure project requirements are met.
• Evaluate project risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to optimize project profitability.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, concerns, and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of project estimates, bids, and related documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to commercial roofing estimating.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial roofing estimating and project management.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting project plans, specifications, and blueprints.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
