Fantastic Fence is Hiring a Residential Sales Representative Near Rocklin, CA

To be a Fantastic Fence sales rep, you need more than basic sales skills and the gift of the gab. We require our sales reps to be detail-oriented, conscientious, and clear, consistent communicators. You also should have basic math and writing skills. We strive to get it right the first time, which starts with our sales team being accurate in the field. This role is not always a walk in the park. We provide estimates year round, rain or shine. But each day is different than the last, and you’re always learning something new. Position Overview

The Residential Sales Representative is responsible for the daily management of residential sales appointments for the geographic area which they are assigned that day. The Residential Sales Representative is accountable for achieving sales, margin, and conversion targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Our Sales Team uses a solution selling, consultative approach to working with customers. To be successful in this role, the Sales Representative will be focused on delivering the following:

  • Serve customers with Quality, Service, and Integrity; provide a high-level customer service experience
  • Achieve sales growth, margin, close rate objectives
  • Follow a customer follow-up process
  • Clear, consistent communication throughout the sales process

Role and Responsibilities

  • Maintain appointment schedule and arrive to each appointment on time
  • Measure client backyards and compose project proposals based on project specifications, customer needs, and product preferences
  • Maintain high level of clear, consistent communication with customers throughout the sales process
  • Respond reliably and quickly to client requests and needs
  • Provide a professional, informed sales presentation
  • Maintain clear communication and organizational relationships based on technical expertise.
  • Make authoritative and quick decisions in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Achieve sales goals, margin targets
  • Adhere to and uphold company policies and sales procedure
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Provide estimators with a clean layout drawing so they can write proposal and price project accurately.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Previous sales experience
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license, be approved by Fantastic Fence’s insurance carrier, and adhere to all safe driving practices
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to pass drug screening.
  • Must be punctual and dependable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Preferred- 2 years experience with in-home sales consultations, home improvement sales
  • Preferred- Fence or building materials industry experience
  • Preferred- Bilingual
