Job Description

As a valued colleague on the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) team within Capital Markets- Treasury, you will contribute to the responsibility of implementing a framework that assigns Treasury cost/credits associated with funding, hedging, and liquidity risk management activities to business units. 
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Treasury - Market Transactions - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the production of FTP results and reporting to improve Fannie Mae cost and profitability analysis
  • Perform analysis to explain drivers of FTP results, including financial markets, portfolio activities, and model updates
  • Partner across multiple teams, such as trading desks, to understand business strategies and develop or enhance methodologies for allocations to business units
  • Research, identify, recommend and implement process improvements to streamline and enhance FTP results production and methodology 

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences

  • 2 years of experience in Finance/Financial Risk Analytics/Accounting Role
  • Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, and capital markets fundamentals and a desire to work on technical financial concepts
  • Advanced excel proficiency- working in large excel files with complex formulas, pivot tables, and links to PowerPoint
  • Experience using business intelligence tools and techniques to improve processes and workflows such as MicroStrategy or Tableau 

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent
  • Prior role in Treasury reporting or Finance/Accounting (preferable related to fixed income and derivatives)
  • Strong analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate potentially complex and dynamic data from multiple sources 
  • Experience working with large volumes of data for producing reports
  • Ability to use VBA/SQL for improving business processes and reporting
  • Comfortable presenting on complex projects with clear conclusions and recommendations
