Job Description
The HR Benefits Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administration of medical, dental, vision and other benefits offered to Famous Supply associates. This position will also assist the HR team with various tasks as needed.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Support the administration of benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance
- Ensuring newly hired associates’ complete benefits enrollment
- Assist with Open Enrollment implementation
- Provide proper reporting to Accounting for benefits billing
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting comply
- Distributing daily department mail to proper HR associate
- Assist HR Generalists as needed
- Answering Department phones
Required Experience and Skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Primarily Outlook and Excel)
- Internal customer service mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Experience and Skills
- 1-2 years of Human Resources experience
- Knowledge and experience in benefits/health insurance/etc.
- ADP WorkForce Now experience
