Position Summary
Provide administrative and clinical supervision and oversight to staff who are providing screening, assessment, diagnosis and treatment to individuals across the lifespan.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee the day-to-day provision of assessment and treatment services to youth, adults and families across the lifespan.
- Insure individuals requesting services are triaged for risk and acuity and assessed in a timely manner via face to face or secure telehealth services.
- Maintain appropriate in-person and telehealth staffing to carry out the functions of the therapy and admissions/Access team.
- Assist in recruiting, vetting and hiring new staff to meet the demand for culturally literate services.
- Insure staff receive training, oversight, monitoring and supervision to evaluate competency and ongoing professional development/growth
- Responsible for the onboarding and development of new clinicians.
- Provide training to therapy staff on documentation and entry into the Center’s electronic health record.
- Maintain agency quality improvement, corporate compliance, and documentation guidelines and ensure services are performed consistent with establish clinical standards.
- Promote and model self-care strategies to maintain personal health.
- Conduct appraisals and routine feedback of staff performance with commendation or corrective action as needed.
- Promote and support the Center’s employee performance guidelines.
- Coordinate and monitor the admission, continued care, and discharge of clients within the therapy department.
- Assist the Director of Clinical Operations in monitoring qualitative and quantitative data with recommendations to promote efficiencies and effectiveness of services provided to individuals served.
- Contribute to the development of the budget for therapy services in conjunction with the Director of Clinical Operations.
- Support and actively promote the vision and mission of Family Service and Guidance Center.
- Act as an ambassador of Family Service & Guidance Center in the community setting and public events.
- Uphold the values and ethical responsibilities of your particular discipline (counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work) in accordance with your professions licensing regulations as a provider and supervisor.
- Insure positive collaboration and coordination with other agency teams and departments.
- Model and promote internal and external customer service to individuals/families served, co workers, colleagues and secondary customers (community partners).

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure:
- Licensed, in good standing, with the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board and meet criteria to be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
- Clinical license, preferred. (LSCSW, LCMFT, LCPC, LP, LCP)
- Must successfully pass the KBI and DCF Central Registry and all other background investigations.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, current auto insurance and reliable transportation.
Experience:
- At least three years of providing clinical services and an additional two years of management or supervisory experience, preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in the field of mental health and substance use treatment.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical interventions and theory as well as experience in the provision of evidence based practices.
- Proficient and competent in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite with ability to learn other software programs as necessary

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Position requires long periods of sitting, continual use of the keyboard and personal computer and/or speaking on the telephone. Position may require the provision of services in an office, client home, school or other community setting.

Pay: $81,450.00 - $129,150.00 per year
