Job Description
Type: Part-Time
Location: Elgin, IL/Community/Remote
SUMMARY
The Training Coordinator is responsible for building and delivering a robust training calendar for FSA staff, and external stakeholders. This position will assist with onboarding of new hires, and serve as the administrator for Paycor LMS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

ADMINISTRATION
  • Meet on regular basis with the Chief Operations Officer to report progress, barriers, and needs for continuing education programs.
  • Work with Recruiting and Marketing Associate to learn about new hires, and care LMS paths and assign accordingly.
  • Attend internship and career fairs.
  • Participate in administrative team meetings and other meetings, as requested.
  • Advise and support staff as they encounter questions or difficulties with Paycor LMS.
  • Responsible for the completion of all agency administrative paperwork, client service records, time sheets, expense sheets and any other administrative or agency requested reports.
  • Responsible for leading program-related risk management and continuous quality improvement activities for training.
  • Participate in agency committees as needed
  • Assign trainings to new hires and maintain compliance records
  • Email staff who are out of compliance on their trainings
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNIT(CEU)/TRAINING PROGRAMS
  • Manage schedule and locations of Continuing Education.
  • Develop goals and execute plans for Continuing Education offerings.
  • Respond to questions, comments, concerns about continuing education.
  • Maintain records of CEU trainings.
  • Identify agency training needs/ interests and coordinate with community resources to provide these trainings to agency and/or community
  • Monitor and support training of all new employees.
  • Develop a feedback tool/ survey for trainings and integrate feedback into future presentations
  • Complete annual assessment of agency trainings.
  • Provide oversight to the on-line learning platform utilized by agency (Paycor LMS).
COMMUNITY EDUCATION/PUBLIC RELATIONS
  • Perform community education and speaking engagements as appropriate for building internship program and continuing education opportunities, as needed.
  • Build & maintain relationships with Counseling, Psychology, Social Work and other programs as a referral source for accessing interns. This includes completing necessary documentation to make FSA an eligible worksite.
OTHER DUTIES/SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS/PROJECTS
  • Review and revise, as necessary, agency forms relating to responsible programs. Also, review and revise as necessary clinical forms and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO and COO
  • Perform business related travel as needed.
  • Responsible for performing job responsibilities with a positive attitude.
  • Responsible for promoting collegiality at the workplace by working collaboratively with others.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS
  • This job operates in a professional office environment and in the community. This role occasionally uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20lbs.
  • The incumbent is frequently expected to walk, sit, stand, bend and drive. The incumbent may also need to climb stairs on occasion. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. on occasion.
  • The work environment is mostly in the office and will have varying temperatures and noise level. The incumbent can expect to work in client’s homes, schools, public libraries, and community agencies.
  • The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a part-time position, 15-25 hours per week.
TRAVEL
This position requires light travel in Cook, Kane and DeKalb counties and occasionally to areas outside of that.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or another related field.
