Job Title: Evaluation & Data Specialist III

Location: Main Office / 702 San Pedro Ave / San Antonio, TX 78212

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (some evenings/weekends may be required)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training/Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree with three years experience assessing projects with regards to data, service tracking, intended outcomes and developing/implementing an aligned evaluation design preferred.
  2. Familiarity and competency with current office equipment, software and computer systems.
  3. Familiarity with and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Operating Systems, word processing, spreadsheets and databases as may be required by stakeholders; and understanding of database systems and their utilization.
  4. Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) desirable.
  5. Staff will be required to submit proof of their vaccination status or may request to be exempt from vaccination due to a religious and/or medical accommodation. 
  6. Certificate or license, as applicable, by the appropriate State agency as a qualified practitioner.
  7. State of Texas vehicle operator’s license and proof of liability insurance, as applicable

Job Functions:

  1. Ensures that clients have access, as needed, to all five pillars of the social determinants of health with a trauma informed lens through Agency services and/or community partners.
  2. Primarily responsible for assisting the agency in creating evaluation processes/procedures to effectively measure agency service impacts for assigned agency services/programs; utilizing best practices and evidence-based evaluation for social service evaluation.
  3. Responsible for working with assigned programs to improve agency evaluation through evidence-based data collection processes, program impact evaluation instruments and evaluation measurements.
  4. Responsible for managing assigned agency databases, providing database programing, set-up and maintenance.
  5. Provide program evaluation and database analysis for assigned agency programs/services through a Bi-Annual and Annual Analysis report.
  6. Support management and program staff in accomplishing agency evaluation and quality assurance objectives by: (a) maintaining assigned project database records; (b) update designated program databases on a regular basis in regards to client enrollment, program services, community referrals, and client outcomes; (c) provide training assistance; and (d) monitor database systems, data entry and integrity.
  7. Responsible for client-centered data compilations/trends analysis required for all agency reports.
  8. Provide regular quality assurance documentation: (a) enrollment and agency forms; and (b) database systems utilized and aspects of data entry; (c) Monthly QA, Peer Review, Incidents/Accidents and supervision tracking; (d) quarterly analysis of QA trends for the agency.
  9. Evaluate, on a monthly basis, agency database reports to determine compliance with funder expectations and agency standards and participate in monthly program Quality Assurance Reviews.
  10. Manage the compilation and analysis of data for Client Satisfaction reports for assigned agency programs/services.
  11. Manage a notification system to alert management and staff of due dates such as contract/stakeholder deadlines for client summary reports, contract compliance report, internal productivity and evaluation reports.
  12. Audit, every two months, all agency Contract Monitoring Reports for accuracy compared to agency databases.
  13. Inspect, organize and maintain agency filing systems, ensuring agency compliance with securing client and program data and agency databases at end of working day.
  14. Maintain the confidentiality and support the security of data related to service recipients, stakeholders, staff and volunteers.
  15. Attend general staff, department, and agency meetings and trainings as required.
  16. Maintain good relationships with stakeholders (including current and potential clients, community and co-workers), focusing on providing excellent and culturally sensitive customer service and presenting a positive image of the agency in all community and stakeholder interactions.
  17. Maintain a working environment which encourages mutual respect, promotes respectful and congenial relationships between employees and is free from all forms of harassment.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned, including presentations to community groups and organizations, in accordance with the agency’s “team” philosophy.
