Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic ,upbeat customer friendly receptionist for our diverse family medicine practice. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy individual with excellent communication skills, positive attitude, self-motivated and detail-oriented. Those with call center or EHR experience are highly preferred. MUST HAVE SOME EHR OR CLINICAL SCHEDULING EXPERIENCE This candidate must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This candidate will support the organization’s mission and purpose by providing first-line customer support. Candidates must be reliable, compassionate, coach-able, and driven by serving. 

Hours Required: Job Types: Full-time ( contract to Full time Permanent). Part Time ( contract to Part time permanent.)

1 Position for 8 am -5 pm M-F & every other Saturday from 8am-1pm

1 Position for 12:30pm-8pm M-F & every other Saturday from 8am-1pm

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interact with patients in a courteous and professional manner.

• Receive inbound calls from other hospitals or care facilities.

•Utilize EHR skills to arrive patients in the system, update all demographics and Insurance information. 

• Use judgment and problem-solving skills

• Utilize the Electronic Health Record scheduling system to coordinate appointments, communicate with patients, providers and 

internal staff

• Analyze, evaluate and work to resolve inquiries and issues.

• Verify Insurance Eligibility, Explain billing issues or errors

• Adhere to precise work schedules

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

High School Diploma Required

Medical Assistant Experience or Associates Degree Preferred
