Dellridge Health & Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking to hire a Director of Nursing for their sub-acute and skilled nursing facility. The Director of Nursing infuses collaboration, respect and a passion for helping others by leading the center's nursing team through a shared vision and purpose.

• Provide leadership, direction, and administration of day-to-day patient care operations.
• Ensure regulatory and policy compliance.

• Promote continuous improvement of nursing services and staff to meet patients/residents and their families' needs and expectations.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work days but also willing to be flexible during a staff shortage or emergency situation
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and disciplinary situations to ensure quality care of residents
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to lead in the recruitment of qualified staff by conducting interviews
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• Promote an atmosphere of respect, professional growth, and encouragement for all nursing staff members and assure regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded
• Responsible for cost controls by monitoring the use of supplies and equipment

Qualifications: 

• Current Registered RN license by the NJ State Board of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• At least 1 year of nurse leadership experience in long-term care is required.
• Must have knowledge of the MDS process as well as state/federal regulations.
