Job Advertisement: Registered Nurse (RN) - Primary Care Outpatient Setting

We are currently seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Primary Care Outpatient Setting. Our ideal candidate is someone who is committed to providing exceptional patient care, has a deep understanding of healthcare processes, medical terminologies, and health systems in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Providing both direct and indirect patient care.

- Assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and evaluating patient responses to interventions.

- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate and manage patient care.

- Educating patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-care techniques.

- Documenting patient information, including vitals, medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans.

- Supervising and training Medical Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses.

- Triaging of patient calls.

- Participating in morning huddles with the clinical team to streamline the clinical day.

- Preparing patients for exams and treatment.

- Administering medications and treatments, monitoring patients for side effects and reactions.

- Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with the medical team.

- Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging injuries.

- Assisting in medical and surgical procedures as needed.

- Operating and monitoring medical equipment.

- Drawing blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work.

- Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions.

- Performing and coordinating administrative duties such as managing patient records, prior authorizations, and patient referrals.

- Valid RN license

- Exceptional clinical skills, including the ability to assess and diagnose patients effectively
