**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in managing family law cases, conducting legal research, and providing administrative support.

**Duties:**

- Assist attorneys with legal case management in family law matters

- Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw

- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence

- Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are organized and up-to-date

- Perform data entry tasks especially Calendaring accurately and efficiently

- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in legal case management software

- Familiarity with Westlaw or other legal research tools

- Strong transcription skills for legal documents

- Project management abilities to handle multiple cases simultaneously

- Excellent file organization skills to maintain accurate records

- Data entry proficiency with attention to detail

- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and terminology

- Understanding of family law practices and procedures

- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
