Accounting Assistant - Corporate Office (Full-Time)

LOCATION: Family Health Care of Siouxland – Corporate Office

POSITION: Accounting Assistant – Full-Time (minimum 35 hours/week)

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:Assists in accounting and administrative related to the
clerical operations of the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:(This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)

  • Provides administrative support to CFO in an array of clerical and operational functions.
  • May handle a wide variety of complex, time sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Assists with accounting duties, CBO duties or other department’s duties as needed.
  • Answers telephones, screens callers, relays messages, provides information, and greets visitors.
  • Assist with the maintenance of office equipment and ordering of supplies.
  • Validating and fulfilling requests for marketing material for all service lines and clinics, i.e. brochures, magnets, posters, etc.
  • Maintains work area in neat and orderly manner.
  • Assists with a variety of projects as needed.
  • Performs related work as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: High school graduation or GED.

Preferred:
1. Minimum 2-4 years accounting experience.
2. Word processing and computer experience.
