Family Guidance Centers is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Springfield, IL

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC), a not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization, treats and prevents substance use disorder, as well as an array of other related problems. Essential Duties:

  • Coordinates the talent acquisition process, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Partners with the FGC Clinical Team to identify employment opportunities and job readiness training for patients in recovery.
  • Partners and collaborates with the HR and leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Network with higher education professionals to develop opportunities for talent acquisition
  • Develop resources for booths/tables at career fairs; organize and attend traditional and virtual job fairs. Sources and attracts candidates by using resume databases, social media, etc.

Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday (8:00a - 4:30p); flexibility required.

Start Date: ASAP

Work Location: 120 N. 11th St., Springfield (on-site)

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Required Experience:

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of two years of recruiting experience is required. Applicant tracking system experience is required.
