We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Counselor to join our team in Oak Lawn, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in counseling patients for cataract surgery. Experience in eye care is helpful but not necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Counsel patients on the surgical process for cataract surgery
• Answer patient questions and concerns regarding the surgery
• Assist patients in scheduling surgery and pre-operative appointments
• Coordinate with surgical team to ensure patient needs are met
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Surgical Counselor
• Experience in counseling patients for cataract surgery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
