Job Description:
Job Title: Controller Location: Louisville, KY-HYBRID
Status: Full-Time
Position Summary
The Controller will support the Accounting Team, and our growing practice and will operate in multiple systems. This position will have responsibilities with multiple processes including Accounts Receivable and Revenue accounting, general ledger accounting and taxes. This position is responsible for demonstrating knowledge and application of job duties and functions under the direction of his/her manager(s) and/or Director(s); respectfully interacts with all levels of staff; provides assistance, as needed, during assigned duty hours; participates in department activities; promotes independence; adherence to the attendance policy; encourages socialization; maintains compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organizational standards; supports the company’s core values.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinating with CPA firm on Federal/State income taxes
· Filing local income, property, and sales taxes
· Preparing financial statements for management review, which will be submitted to the board, bank, and other stakeholders. This includes income statement, cash flow, balance sheet and supporting reports
· Manage all general ledger accounting, which includes reviewing subordinate’s journal entries and supporting workbooks
· Analyze data and post journal entries with reconciliation to supporting schedules
· Reconcile all balance sheet accounts
· Liaison with the external audit firm, including preparation of schedules and analysis to support the successful completion of the annual audit.
· This position reports directly to the Director of Finance and supports the accounting and financial operations of the company.
· Other tasks as assigned by Director/CFO.

Education, Prior Work Experience, Special Skill and Knowledge Requirements:
· Bachelors' Degree in Accounting/Finance, or related field, required.
· Public Accounting Experience
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills, required.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Acceptable results on Office of Inspector General, State Medicaid Exclusions, Abuse Registry Checks, Background Screenings, Drug Screen, and Sanction Checks.
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
