Duties and Responsibilities
Provide in home psychotherapy to children and adolescent clients with specialized, intense and intense plus levels of care
Submit documentation within 48 hours
Submit monthly summaries/report for each client
Participate in weekly Clinical Team meetings
Use of appropriate therapeutic interventions
Minimum Job Requirements (this is an overview and not a conclusive description)
Be fully licensed to practice in the state of Texas as a LPC or LPC-A
Be willing to be added as a performing provider for the group practice to various insurance companies
Experience or be willing to be trained in Trauma Informed Care
Be willing to travel to group homes, residential treatment centers, foster homes, schools, private residences, etc. to provide therapeutic services
Must pass urine drug screening, criminal background checks, and FBI finger printing

Ability to apply evidenced based mental health counseling methods and techniques
Knowledge of community mental health resources
Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures
Knowledge of case management duties and responsibilities
Knowledge and understanding of clinical counseling principles, programs and methodology
Interviewing and psychological/developmental evaluation skills
Knowledge and understanding of clinical social work and mental health counseling principles, procedures, and standards
Ability to evaluate the progress of therapeutic programs and to make individualized modifications
Ability to maintain emotional stability to cope with human suffering, emergencies, and other stresses
Knowledge of psychological test administration, scoring, and interpretation
Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to patient rights
