Possess an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is a must (TS/SCI)
B.S. degree or equivalent in related security discipline
At least 4 years of related experience, 2 years of experience must be in Special Access Programs (SAP) security environment, conversant in SAP process and procedures.
Introduction to Special Access Programs (SAPs) certification
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
Must be able to work independently and reliably with limited supervision
Demonstrated organization skills
Experience in support of Special Access Programs (SAPs)
Experience coordinating Visit Authorization Request (VAR)
Clearance verifications
Formal training with DISS and other DOD databases
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Thorough knowledge of DoD 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, JAFAN Manuals and NISPOM: 32 CFR part 117
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required; Proficiency with ThreatSwitch----- Preferred but not required.
The primary function is to provide multi-discipline security admin support of the customer’s special Access Programs (SAPs) and assist company; The position will provide day-to-day security support and multi-discipline analysis for DoD, SCI and SAP activities and/or receiving classified media.
Ensures compliance with all applicable security manuals, guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for physical security, information security, and personnel security
Serves as a security specialist in support of the Special Access Program for our customer.
Enters and extracts data from Falconwood’s security database for incoming and outgoing documents and media.
Conducts annual inventories of accountable materials, and media
Maintain and control all electronic media as required by operational security plans, Federal government security manuals, and guides; assist FSO's with self-inspections
Team Support (when not supporting specific agency operational task)
Assist with SCI nominations
Additionally, you will work closely with the security manager and brief senior leadership
Other task may be assigned
Desired Qualifications:
Completion of the Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) course provided by the Defense Security Service (DSS), Center for the Development of Security Excellence (CDSE)
Successful completion of CDSE courses deemed acceptable to the government. Courses should cover a spectrum of security disciplines including General Security, Personnel Security, Physical Security, and Special Access Programs
