Department of The Navy is Hiring an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (DATAMGT/SYSANALYSIS) with Security Clearance Near Stafford, VA

Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties * You will be responsible for ensuring IT requirements are met for delegated areas. * You will coordinate IT efforts in projects and help address technical issues. * You will ensure application of information security and information assurance, policies, and principles of systems. * You will be evaluating and providing recommendations on new database technologies and architectures. * You will be implementing the integration of all systems components; eg. procedures, databases, policies, principles, and practices to the systems analysis process. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. * You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment. * You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing Information Technology projects; designing, developing installing, OR implementing databases; AND developing OR administering data standards, policies, and procedures. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Additional information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. * Engineering knowledge in the one or more of the following functional areas:
* Radio Frequency/Signals Processing and tactical communications
* Signal Intelligence * Management, control, and domination of the electromagnetic spectrum
* Data processing, fusion, and management, * Intelligence systems (Multi source, geo, or signals intelligence)
* C4I and IT Systems
* Experience in the integration/refresh of COTS/GOTS/new technologies * Experience in applying systems engineering principles to the acquisition, development, integration, testing, delivery and advanced technology development for new/existing government/commercial intelligence systems.
* Experience with virtual machines, virtual machine management, containers, and container management solutions.
* Experience with migration to and sustainment in the Cloud, and implementation, fielding and sustainment of AI/ML algorithms.
