In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and tooling operations with preventative maintenance, tool assembly, basic repairs and routine inspection activities. You will be provided a mentor whom will assist in your development of advanced technical skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

TOOLING SUPPORT and MAINTENANCE

• Generates, evaluates, and executes work orders for tooling PM on a daily basis including documentation of activities performed.
• Assist with preventative maintenance on molds and components as needed, to included disassembles, lubricates, reassembles and stores tools per preventative maintenance requirements.
• Reads basic blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, or specifications to determine assembly, preventative maintenance requirements, dimensions and the tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Grinds, files, and sands parts to fit parts for assembly and to polish smooth and finish cavity.
• Installs machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, molds and equipment, and tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance.

EQUIPMENT, SYSTEMS & FACILITY

• Assist in the installation of electrical equipment and any repair or replacement necessary to wiring and electrical fixtures.
• Understands and possesses ability to safely work with electrical components up to 480 volts.
• Partners with Maintenance team members in making routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of machinery and equipment.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Supports maintenance of utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
• Actives demonstrates working knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems. Performs equipment repairs as directed.
• Must be able to read and follow basic blueprints and schematicss

Education and/or Experience: Three year related experience and/or education.

Wage: Will be dependant of the education, experience and skills of the selected applicant.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
