falck.dev00 is Hiring a Payroll Administrator Near Orange, CA

This position will be based in our Falck USA headquarters in Orange, CA office. 

Falck is a is a global emergency medical services provider originating from Denmark that services 3 states in the US including: California, Oregon, and Colorado. Falck has been operating in the US since 2010 and is one of the largest private providers of emergency medical services in the country today. Salary Range: $85,000 - $94,000 K annually

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

The Payroll Administrator must be able to adequately perform essential duties in an organized and efficient manner. These duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide world class customer service to our external and internal customer base
  • Process payroll for our Falck locations
  • Work with Time and Attendance system to balance hours prior to payroll processing
  • Run ADP reports and reconcile data utilizing advanced excel format
  • Support payroll inbox inquiries and work with multiple teams
  • Process on demand manual checks for our Falck locations
  • Serve as back up for payroll processing to our Payroll Team
  • Collaborate with multiple Teams on different projects (Accounting, People and Culture, Scheduling, Operations, Executives and other Teams)
  • Balance 941 filings and reconcile annual reporting 940 and employee W-2’s
  • Partner with HR Team to support union requirements and employee support
  • Establish relationship with union regarding contract deliverables and response time
  • Audit manual payroll checks
  • Maintain and manage payroll procedures, based on company initiatives
  • Work with sites on auditing union requirements to support ADP programming
  • Administer union dues reporting and working with Accounting for check processing and troubleshooting inquiries
  • Serve as internal subject matter expert regarding payroll compliance to support audit requests
  • Participate on projects to support company initiatives and improvements
  • Work on projects, based on business needs

Qualifications:

  • 5 years or greater in the payroll profession
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ADP Vantage or other Payroll systems platform
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment supporting our internal and external customers
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing
  • Knowledge of time and attendance systems
  • Knowledge of payroll tax filing (941’s and 940)
  • Knowledge and practice of SOX requirements
  • Advanced Excel (V-look up, X-look up, Pivot Tables and other features)
