Job Summary

Faith Home Health & Hospice is seeking a compassionate and well trained RN Director of Nursing to lead our team in Wichita, KS. Candidate must be committed to the highest standard of care and professionalism. This position provides direction, planning, and over site to the day to day clinical operations. Candidate must have a strong knowledge of the Conditions of Participation for Medicare, Medicaid, Federal and State Regulations, accreditation standards. In addition, candidate must have a strong clinical background, strong leadership and communication skills, financial skills and computer skills. Qualified Director of Nursing should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role in the Hospice industry. Candidate will also be responsible for developing standards which ensure safe and therapeutically effective services for patients and families. In addition, candidate will ensure that patients’ plans of care are developed, implemented and evaluated, conduct case conferences and in-services, and oversee the agency’s ongoing Quality Assessment/Performance Improvement (QAPI). Qualified individual will be required to successfully pass background and drug screening and must have the following.

DIRECTOR OF NURSING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have a current unencumbered, valid Kansas Nursing RN license.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Have or obtain a current in person CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospice experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory and administrative experience.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
