**Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional eye care services to our patients and contribute to the overall success of our practice. **Duties:** - Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess patients' vision and eye health - Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases - Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed - Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry practices and technologies **Experience:** The successful candidate should possess the following skills: - Proficiency in optometry systems and tools - Strong sales skills to recommend appropriate eyewear products - Knowledge of succession planning in optometry practices - Familiarity with ophthalmology practices and procedures - Experience in pediatric optometry is a plus - Understanding of medical coding related to optometric services - Knowledge of optical products and services - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality - Ability to maintain accurate medical records - Excellent patient care skills and bedside manner
