Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front Desk Receptionist with Billing experience to join our team. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care services to our clients. Must be able to multitask and possess strong communication skills. This position requires a strong knowledge of insurance for pre-authorization of vision and health insurance as well as checking patinets out and billing their insurance for services rendered. Knowledge of and experience with insurance authorizations and billing is essential with no exception.

Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and make appointments
- Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists
- Preauthorize of patient's insurance as well as filing insurance
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and transactions
- Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive eye care services

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in health care front desk and insurance
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with optical systems and laboratory procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Proficient in retail math for pricing and billing purposes
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in retail sales or retail management is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
