Fairview Early Childhood Center is Hiring an Office Manager Near North Augusta, SC

OFFICE MANAGER - CHILDCARE CENTER (PRESCHOOL)

Fairview Early Childhood Center (FECC) opened in 1989 and remains committed to providing a warm, loving, and safe Christian environment for every child. As we continue to evolve and grow, we are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team. This person will be pivotal in maintaining the efficiency of the office. Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to emails daily. Use Procare software system to communicate announcements to parents.
  • Customer Care & Retention: Interface with parents in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. Ensure building access is current. Manage parent feedback program and social media presence.
  • Planning: Institute annual planning calendar to organize and effectively plan for communications. Ensure on-going preplanning processes are in place.
  • Process Management: Follow proven processes, such as inquiry management process to ensure enrollment of new children. Set up and conduct tours with interested parents.
  • Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain class lists, provide required reports to Board, ensure DSS compliance measures are in place for staff and child files, prepare and edit documents.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate positive relationships and lead communications with families, state licensing authorities, vendors, and church.
  • Administrative Support: Provide support to the Education Director as needed for monthly calendars and other correspondence.
  • Branding: Ensure brand consistency in all aspects of operation and communications.
  • Growth: Secure new enrollment through community marketing and advertising as needed.

Must-Have Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Technology savviness with the ability to quickly learn new software programs as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Google Documents, and calendar management.
  • Exceptionally organized with the ability to solve problems and create organized processes.
  • Ability to implement and follow proven processes and systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail orientated and able to complete work accurately and on time.
  • Teachable and willing to embrace new ideas. Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to recognize mistakes, learn from them, and make corrections going forward.
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role with transferable skills. High School Diploma and five (5) years of experience in a similar role with transferable skills. Please be sure your resume is accurate and fully updated.
  • Must have a clean background check to be able to work in child care setting.
  • Social media, marketing, advertising, and intangible sales experience a plus.

Other Information Relative to Position:

  • To be part of our team you must be someone who has a high level of integrity who can be trusted with confidential information. You must be honest, compassionate, self-motivated, and a team player. Also, you must be able to perform all job duties in accordance with the theological beliefs and standards of FECC.
  • This is not a remote role. We are located at 308 W Martintown Rd, North Augusta, SC 29841. Typical hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm.
  • Must be highly reliable and able to attend occasional events and activities, such as staff meetings and open houses.
  • This job can require bending, sitting, reaching, standing, lifting, and going up and down stairs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
