Job Description:

The Team Leader V supervises the work of 5 or more employees for an assigned shift. Primary purpose is to assign work and follow up on the work of other employees within the unit. Reports to the supervisor, facilitates the work of others within the unit on an assigned shift. Plans and assigns work to ensure maximum production and efficiency.

• Assigns work and follows up on the work of other employees within the unit.
• Provides for and promotes inter and intradepartmental communication.
• Participates in interviewing new employee candidates.
• Informs Manager of any concerns/problems.
• Counsels employee issues.
• Designs, manages and delivers employee benefits/health and welfare plans throughout the employment cycle using best practice methods and technology.
• Implement new or updated benefit plans by preparing announcement material, booklets and other material used to communicating to employees.
• Advises and counsels management and employees on existing benefits.
• Oversees internal and external reporting requirements including performance metrics.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of an A.M.A. approved School for Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate degree in respiratory therapy or equivalent required.
• Participation in FMC STRIDES desired.
• 3-5 years experience in respiratory therapy required.

Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
