Laundry Attendant
Location: Montgomery, AL, 36105
Job Description:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and other laundry items are cleaned and properly stored. The Laundry Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and wash all linens, towels, and other laundry items
- Dry and fold all laundry items
- Ensure that all laundry items are properly stored and organized
- Operate laundry equipment, including washers and dryers
- Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor
- Ensure that all laundry items are properly labeled and accounted for
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of laundry supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
