Fairfax Radiology Centers, LLC is Hiring a Medical Assistant (Late Shift) Near Lansdowne, VA

Take the next step in your healthcare career and join Fairfax Radiology Centers to work as a Medical Assistant (MRI Tech Aide) from our Lansdowne patient center in Lansdowne (Leesburg), VA.

This role is full-time (40 hours per week), Shift: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm

Who you are:

As the MRI Tech Aide and valued member of our team you are someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced and collaborative team-oriented environment, effectively communicate with patients and FRC staff, and demonstrate empathy and compassion to our patients.

What you will do:

  • Will be responsible for screening patients for medical background and history
  • Start IV access prior to procedures
  • Draw blood for creatinine test when needed
  • Assist medical imaging staff with clinical and administrative tasks; as well as procedures and patient care

What you will bring:

  • Diploma or current certification in Medical Assisting or Tech Aide
  • Must be able to start IV access prior to procedures and draw blood
  • Two year's of prior working experience in a medical environment
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider/AED
  • Excellent customer service and clinical skills required
