Position: Assistant Director of Nursing

Fair Oaks Lodge, a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON for our fantastic facility!

The ADON is instrumental in implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department to maintain standards of residents’ care.

Responsibilities:

  • This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies, and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
  • Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.
  • Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
  • Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
  • Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.

Education and/or Experience

  • Licensed Registered Nurse with current Minnesota nursing licensure required.
  • Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
  • 3 years experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred.
  • Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
  • Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
