Niagara Bottling has created a new Maintenance Apprenticeship Program, which is geared towards hiring candidates who are interested in becoming a skilled maintenance technician at one of our 40 plants across the U.
S. The program is also accredited through ICATT Train the Trainer and is a Federally Certified Apprenticeship Program.
This is an 18-month program that will fast-track your road to becoming a multi-skilled maintenance technician and equip you with indispensable knowledge and work experience within mechanical and electrical AC / DC troubleshooting, PLC exposure, hydraulics / pneumatics, schematics, power transmission, lubrication, and arithmetic critical thinking.
Hires will work in a fully automated plant and get to experience our manufacturing processes. You will get hands-on experience working with our machinery, including injection molders, blow molders, cappers, labelers, packaging machines, and palletizers.
This 18-month program will lay out learning topics in safety, root cause analysis, wet end, dry end, vision systems, SMED events, shift swapping, electrical foundations, automation, aseptic, Laser Guided Vehicles, water farms, and much more.
As a Maintenance Apprentice, you will be assigned a coach who will provide day to day guidance and mentorship and at the end of successful completion of the program, will be able to obtain full-time employment as a Maintenance Technician within one of our plants.
Our apprentices are also full-time and benefits-eligible employees with Niagara Bottling).
Our plant in Aurora, CO is participating in our second cohort, which is scheduled to start in May 2024. We are looking for 4-6 hires to start at our Aurora plant.
