Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a part-time Human Resources/Payroll Assistant. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR and/or Payroll functions. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HR processes and procedures, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.
Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings and conducting background checks
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of data in HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
- Process new hires and terminations
- Assist with Payroll processes as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing documents, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience in an HR administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedures
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll systems (e.g., Paychex, Paycor, Paycom, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and spreadsheet applications
- High level accuracy in data entry
