Job Summary

FSI is looking to hire a Warehouse Specialist to join our team. This position will assist in the day-to-day logistics of material ordering, material handling, PO requisition and accounting. Responsibilities include addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Load and unload trucks
• Move material within the facility and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, joists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment.
• Maintains records of equipment use, repair and preventative maintenance.
• Utilize proper techniques for lifting, packing and handling heavy objects.
• Ensure all employees adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to deal with others in a tactful and respectful manner.
• Perform all duties in conformance with company safety policies and procedures.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Must have proven experience in supply chain operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
• Demonstrated skills in objective problem-solving and decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• First-Aid and CPR qualifications preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be a self-starter and have proficient typing skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Physical Requirements

In an 8-hour day, must be able to continually bend, squat, kneel, lift, twist, climb, reach, stand and walk; to use hands for repetitive pushing, pulling, and single grasp motion; and to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 pounds, move objects more than 100 pounds. Physical demands include intermittent sitting, standing, and walking, and occasional bending, reaching, and lifting (under 60 lbs.)
